Servanthood in Fulton County and the City of South Fulton
From the earliest days of my ministry, I understood that the call to lead was a call to serve. God positioned me, not just withn the four walls of the church, but in the heart of the community of Fulton County and the State of Georgia.
When the vision of creating the City of South Fulton was still being birthed, The Kingdom of God International Ministry, formerly The Kingdom of God Evangelistic Outreach Ministry, stood as the only church that opened its doors for the meetings that gave rise to the city. That act of hospitality and service made our church not only a landmark but a pillar of South Fulton, dedicated back to the community as a house of service and hope.
As South Fulton transitioned from concept to city, I, too, transitioned. Having served as Chaplain and Hostage Negotiator for the South Fulton Police Department, I moved into the new city structure. Under the leadership of City Council, and with Councilman Mark Baker championing the vision, the Office of Chaplaincy was created. By God's grace, I was able to design and establish the entire chaplaincy program, my intellectual property, that continues to provide spiritual care, crisis support, and community connection across the city.
My service extended beyond the city into the county and state:
-
Commissioner to the Fulton County Housing Authority, helping guide decisions that impacted families.
-
First POST-Certified Chaplain in the State of Georgia, while also serving as a police officer and achieving certification as a Level II Firefighter.
-
Collaboration with the Magistrate Court of Fulton County where alongside Judge Alison, I helped create the South Fulton Community Service Program.
-
County-wide Chaplain, offering spiritual support and care to all who faced crisis, loss, or personal need.
The Kingdom of God International Ministry has also been a lifeline to residents of South Fulton in practical ways. Before, during, and after COVID-19, we provided food through our Food Pantry, ensuring that families had nourishment when jobs were lost, schools were closed, and resources were scarce. This outreach was extended through our community garden, where fresh produce was planted and harvested so that the blessing of provision flowed from God's earth to the tables of His people.
Through every role, I have walked with a servant's heart. Not seeking recognition but seeking to fulfill the call of the Kingdom of God: to heal , to help, and to build.
In 2026, as I look toward offering myself as a candidate for City Council, District 3, I do so not as a politician, but as a servant. My campaign will be grounded in the simple but profound truth: "Servanthood, A Servant with a Servant's Heart."
It is my prayer that the people of South Fulton will remember not only my service, but also the service of The Kingdom of God International Ministry, which has stood as a faithful bridge between heaven and earth, church and community, citizen and city.
